Respiratory Clinical Service Manager, Pennine Lung Service and, Pennine Oxygen service, Directorate Manager Speciality Medicine
Royal Oldham Hospital

I am a Nurse by background having qualified in 1995. I have always had an interest in Respiratory medicine and spent 8 years as a practice nurse focused on all age respiratory care. I then became a lead respiratory specialist nurse and have been Respiratory Clinical lead at OCO for the past 4 and a half years.

I do 1 session per week for the Oldham CCG in a strategic role as the Clinical Director for Respiratory. I am just coming to the end of a Global MBA at Manchester Business school and am seconded into a joint operational and clinical role as Directorate manager for speciality medicine.

In my personal life I have 2 children who are currently just finishing their Degrees so as you can imagine things are pretty stressful in our house but as a treat for all our academic stresses and successes, we are awaiting the arrival of a beautiful Hungarian Vizla puppy called Rory who will join us as a family on the 22nd May 21. All suitably excited.
